This is a convenient and economocal place for an overnight stay between an evening international arrival and morning domestic flight or prior to an early morning int. Flight as we live in a provincial city. Free airport shuttle and long term car parking are provided which is very handy.
It is clean but apart from that very functional.Suits our needs in the above situations but wouldn't stay here otherwise. Attention to some fittings would be appreciated eg the legs on the heater were broken and a bedside lamp didn't work. Having arrived at 9pm after an Int flight it would have been great to have been able to order a light snack eg something as simple as a toasted sandwich. Had no transport and nowhere close to walk to for supper.

Convenient to Airport. Shuttle service.
It is OK for the price, if you need a quick overnight stay near the airport.

The Airport Pacific Inn is perfect if all you need is a clean quiet comfortable place to sleep near the airport. The free and very fast wi-fi in the rooms is another big advantage. The owners are very friendly and the free 24-hr airport shuttle is a big plus.
The location is inconvenient if you need to go into the city and don't have your own vehicle. For newcomers to Auckland, navigating around on the bus system is not easy, especially trying to get from the city back to the hotel in Mangere. The neighborhood around the hotel is pretty drab--seems like a low-income residential suburb and there doesn't seem to be any good shopping or dining places within walking distance.

I stayed for a day and a half upon arriving in Auckland after a very long 2 days of travel, and all I needed was a quiet room to rest and finish working on a report before going on to Wellington. The Auckland Airport Pacific Inn was perfect for that. The room was quiet and comfortable, and the free internet was fast and reliable. When I called the Inn from the airport, the complimentary shuttle bus arrived ten minutes later.
There's not much of interest within walking distance around the hotel but the bus line looked convenient in case someone wants to go into Auckland. The hotel restaurant looks small and uninviting but I didn't to take any meals there so I can't comment on the food. Besides, there were a few other restaurants within walking distance.

The noise from the other bedrooms when they ran their tap or shower was terrible, we were woken at 3:30am and again at 5am with the sound of hot water pipes hissing through the walls. On the plus side the staff were very friendly and the location was great, unfortunately for us we would of got more of a lie in had we of stayed at home, got up at 3:00am and taken the 2hr drive to the airport.

The bedroom was large with a big bed and a small one, fridge, coffee and tea facilities for 89 nz Dollars. But the negative point was the breakfast, not included in the price of the room: we were charged 20 dollars for a cup of coffe each, two toasts, butter and jam and a fried egg!Happely we had the free shuttle minivan to and from the airport!
The breakfast
